Orders and payment
How do I pay for an order?
By PayID or bank transfer. The payment details and your order number appear on screen after you place the order, and are also emailed to you.
Why don't you take card payments?
PayID and bank transfer keep the checkout simple and the payment traceable. PayID usually clears within minutes, which means your order can be dispatched the same day.
How long do I have to pay?
Orders are held for 48 hours. If payment has not arrived by then the order is cancelled and nothing is owed. Use your order number as the payment reference so we can match it.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, until it is dispatched. Contact us with your order number as soon as possible.
Do you offer bulk or institutional pricing?
Yes. Send a bulk quote request through the contact page with the compounds and quantities you need.
Shipping
Do you ship outside Australia?
No. We ship to Australian addresses only.
When will my order be dispatched?
How long does delivery take?
Standard post usually takes [2–6] business days after dispatch and express usually takes [1–3], depending on the destination.
Is shipping free?
Standard shipping is free on orders over $250. Express is $19.95.
Products and testing
How is purity tested?
Every batch is tested by HPLC for purity and by mass spectrometry for identity. The purity figure on each product page is the HPLC result for the batch we sell.
Can I see the certificate of analysis?
Yes. Request it on the certificates of analysis page and we email the PDF for the batch in stock or the batch in your order.
What form do the compounds come in?
Most compounds are supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed vial. The product page lists the amount per vial.
How should vials be stored?
Lyophilised vials are best kept refrigerated at 2–8 °C, away from light. For longer storage, freezing at −20 °C is common laboratory practice. Each compound page notes any specific storage details.
Do you stock bacteriostatic water and syringes?
Yes, on the supplies pages. Our reconstitution calculator does the concentration maths for any vial size and volume.
Research use
What does research use only mean?
It means the compounds are sold for laboratory research, such as in vitro or preclinical work. They are not medicines, are not approved for therapeutic use in Australia and are not for human or animal consumption.
Are peptides legal in Australia?
It depends on the compound and how it is scheduled by the TGA. Our legal page explains how scheduling works and lists the status of each compound we sell.
Who can buy from Tasman?
Buyers must be 18 or over and confirm at checkout that they are purchasing for research use only.
Can you give advice on using a compound?
No. We provide product information, testing results and links to published research. We do not give dosing, medical or usage advice of any kind.
Returns
Can I return a product?
Research compounds can't be returned once dispatched unless they are faulty or incorrect. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We replace or refund faulty or incorrect items, including the shipping cost.
How long do refunds take?
Approved refunds are paid by bank transfer, usually within [3] business days.
What if my parcel doesn't arrive?
Contact us with your order number. If tracking shows no movement for 5 business days we lodge an enquiry with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund.
