What goes in a sharps container?
Used insulin syringes, pen needles, transfer needles and anything else sharp. Do not overfill it; close the lid once it reaches the fill line.
How do I dispose of a full sharps container?
Close and lock the lid, then follow your state or local council's rules. Many councils and pharmacies accept sealed sharps containers.
