What is a peptide pen?

A peptide pen is a pen body that holds a cartridge of reconstituted peptide solution and dispenses measured volumes through a screw-on pen needle. This one is reusable and takes 3 mL cartridges.

How is it different from a pre-filled pen?

A pre-filled pen, such as the Retatrutide pen, arrives filled and is used as supplied. The reusable pen arrives empty; the lab reconstitutes a vial and fills a 3 mL cartridge itself.

What do I need to use the pen?

A reconstituted vial, BAC water, a 3 mL cartridge and pen needles. BAC water and 32G 4 mm pen needles are on their own pages.

Which compounds can go into the pen?

Any compound that is reconstituted into solution can be moved into a cartridge. The volume in one cartridge is up to 3 mL, so plan the concentration with the reconstitution calculator.

How should a filled cartridge be stored?

Keep it refrigerated at 2 to 8 °C, away from light, and label it with the compound, concentration and date it was filled.
