Who we are

This policy explains how Tasman Peptides handles personal information. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What information we collect

When you order or contact us we collect your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, your order details, your research-use and age declarations, and payment references. We do not receive or store card details. Our website also records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.

Why we collect it

We use your information to process and deliver orders, match payments, send order and dispatch emails, answer enquiries, meet legal and tax obligations and keep the website secure. We do not send marketing emails unless you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with the providers who help us operate: the delivery carrier, our email provider, our website host and our bank. We do not sell personal information. Some providers may store data outside Australia; where they do, we take reasonable steps to make sure the information is handled consistently with the APPs.

Cookies

The website uses cookies and local storage to keep your cart and session working. We do not run advertising trackers. If we add an analytics tool, it will be named here.

How we protect and keep it

Information is stored on secured systems with restricted access. We keep order records for as long as required by tax and business-records law, generally [5–7] years, and then delete or de-identify them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
